The Utah Judiciary is aware of a scam involving text messages that falsely appear to come from the courts and demand payment through links or QR codes. These messages are not legitimate - courts do not request payments this way, and individuals should not respond or provide any personal or financial information.

3rd District Juvenile Court - Hours/Holidays

Court and Probation Offices:

  • The Juvenile Court is open Monday through Friday,from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with the exception of state holidays (below).

  • The Work Crew program is located at TSOB South Bldg Lower Level 4315 S 2700 W Taylorsville and has varying hours. Please contact the Work Crew at 385-202-0318 for more information if needed.  

Court Holidays:

  • All Juvenile Court offices are closed on state and federal holidays. They are as follows:

    1. New Years Day (January)

    2. Human Rights Day (January)

    3. President's Day (February)

    4. Memorial Day (May)

    5. Juneteenth (June)

    6. Independence Day (July)

    7. Pioneer Day (July)

    8. Labor Day (September)

    9. Columbus Day (October)

    10. Veterans Day (November)

    11. Thanksgiving Day (November)

    12. Christmas Day (December)

  • Generally, if one of the above holidays falls on a Saturday the court offices will be closed the Friday before the holiday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday the court offices will usually be closed on the following Monday.
