JUDGE ANNETTE JAN
Judge Annettee Jan was appointed to the Third District Juvenile Court March 2020 by Governor Gary Herbert. She serves Salt Lake, Tooele, and Summit Counties. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Jan worked for the Utah Attorney General's Office for 18 years. Prior to the Attorney General’s office she served with the Guardian Ad Litem’s office for 4 years in 2nd and 3rd District Juvenile Court. She also spent time with Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake and Utah Legal services. Judge Jan’s career has been dedicated to public service. She graduated in 1994 from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, and prior to law school she obtained a Bachelor's of Arts in history from the University of Utah in early 1990’s. 2/2023
