JUDGE JOHN HULBERT
John Hulbert was appointed to the Hyrum Justice Court in June 2025. Mr. Hulbert graduated from BYU-Idaho, Brigham Young University, and the UCLA School of Law. During law school, he completed federal appellate externships with Judge Michael McConnell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and Judge N. Randy Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He served as in-house counsel for ICON Health & Fitness, Inc. (now iFIT) for 12 years, including helping in the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case Octane Fitness, LLC v. Icon Health & Fitness, Inc. (2014). He later worked for two years at AgReserves, Inc., an affiliate of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and has served as in-house counsel for AAPC since 2022. Before law school, Mr. Hulbert was a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (C.A.S.A.) for the Utah Office of Guardian ad Litem, representing abused and neglected children in Utah's Fourth Judicial District. He also taught as an adjunct professor in the Practice of Law and Management at Utah State University's Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.
