JUDGE JORDAN VAN OOSTENDORP

Judge Jordan Van Oostendorp was appointed to the Eighth District Juvenile Court by Governor Spencer J. Cox in April, 2025. He serves Uintah, Daggett, and Duchesne counties. Judge Van Oostendorp graduated from Utah Valley University in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Management. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2013. Prior to his appointment, Judge Van Oostendorp worked in private practice at Sam, Reynolds & Van Oostendorp law firm in Vernal, Utah. His practice focused on representation for parents and minors in the juvenile court, as well as criminal defense and domestic litigation.      8/26
