The Utah Judiciary is aware of a scam involving text messages that falsely appear to come from the courts and demand payment through links or QR codes. These messages are not legitimate - courts do not request payments this way, and individuals should not respond or provide any personal or financial information.

JUDGE BROOKE LARSEN

Brooke Larsen was appointed to the Pleasant Grove Justice Court in March 2025. Ms. Larsen holds a Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School and has over 20 years of legal experience. Ms. Larsen previously served as the Cowdell Law Chief Prosecutor and prosecuted in various cities throughout the state. Her work history includes roles as the West Jordan Assistant City Prosecutor and the Utah Political Subdivisions Ethics Commission Executive Director. She has also prosecuted for the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office.
