JUDGE RYAN P.C. STACK

Judge Ryan P.C. Stack was appointed to the Fourth District Court in June 2026 by Governor Spencer J. Cox. He serves Juab, Millard, Utah, and Wasatch counties. Judge Stack graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from the University of San Diego in 2003. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2006. From 2011 until his appointment to the bench, Judge Stack served as a deputy county attorney for Summit County. He represented the county in civil litigation and advised county departments and special districts. He also worked for nearly a decade as a prosecutor handling a wide range of felony cases. Before joining the Summit County Attorney's Office, he worked in the Salt Lake City Prosecutor's Office and was named that office’s Trial Attorney of the Year in 2008. In addition to his legal practice, Judge Stack served on the Utah Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure, the Heber City Council, and the Heber City Planning Commission.   8/26
