The Utah Judiciary is aware of a scam involving text messages that falsely appear to come from the courts and demand payment through links or QR codes. These messages are not legitimate - courts do not request payments this way, and individuals should not respond or provide any personal or financial information.

Request a Certificate of Good Standing from the Utah Supreme Court

The fee for a Certificate of Good Standing is $15.00 per certificate (plus the cost of postage if certificate is to be mailed). Payment is due by credit card before the certificate will be prepared.

All Certificates of Good Standing will ONLY be delivered as a protected PDF document by email. Any hard copy of a Certificate of Good Standing must be specifically requested.
