A master’s degree in international relations from Georgetown University and Doctoral Candidate (ABD) from the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy, Ms. Merrill is teaching at UVU, and formerly at BYU and the US Army War College (AWC) on conflict management and resolution. She has over
thirty years of experience in conflict resolution, peacebuilding, gender discrimination disputes, and conflict transformation. She was a senior advisor to the USAID and the US military on reconciliation, and ethnic cooperation. I would like to use my peacebuilding skills, professional expertise and, mediation
experience to solve conflicts and disputes in Utah.
