Non-Custodial Resource Center
The Co-Parenting Mediation Program helps to build bridges so children can transition between parents, while maintaining healthy relationships. If you are not receiving court ordered parent-time, in the Third District Court (Salt Lake, Summit, and Tooele counties), the Co-Parenting Mediation Program may apply. If you are not represented by an attorney and are pro se, you may download and print off a Motion for Order to Show Cause Re: Contempt (Parent-time) from this website, fill it out, and file it with the clerk's office. A referral to mediation will be made, and a session will be scheduled to take place within 15 calendar days.
The Co-Parenting Mediation Program may also provide information regarding parent-time services as an optional means of resolution. These services include supervised parent-time and neutral exchange services. These services are provided by private organizations located in the Salt Lake Valley.
