NOMINEE NAMED TO FILL WASHINGTON CITY JUSTICE COURT VACANCY

Washington City, UT— The Washington County Nominating Commission has announced the appointment of Thad Don Seegmiller to fill the Washington City Justice Court vacancy. The position will replace Judge Lee Bunnell who will retire effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Seegmiller, a southern Utah native, received a Business Degree from Brigham Young University and a Law Degree from University of Montana School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Utah and Nevada. Seegmiller has practiced in several law firms in southern Utah where he focused on real estate, business, and estate transactions and litigation. Most recently, he holds the position of General Counsel for Sunwarrior, a local health supplement manufacturing company with national and international distribution.

Seegmiller’s appointment to the bench is subject to completion of the court’s new judge orientation and certification by the Utah Judicial Council.
