Rule 15-606. Prior discipline orders.
Absent aggravating ormitigating circumstances, upon application of the factors set out in Rule15-604 of this Article, the following principles generally apply in casesinvolving prior discipline.
(a) The district court orSupreme Court may impose further sanctions upon a licensed paralegalpractitioner who violates the terms of a prior disciplinary order.
(b) When a licensedparalegal practitioner engages in misconduct similar to that for which thelicensed paralegal practitioner has previously been disciplined, theappropriate sanction will generally be one level more severe than the sanctionthe licensed paralegal practitioner previously received, provided that the harmrequisite for the higher sanction is present.
