Rule 15-417. Miscellaneous fees andexpenses.
(a) All fees under this article will bedeposited in a special account of the Board and used to defray the costs ofadministering this article.
(b) A Limited Paralegal Practitionermust pay an administrative fee of $25 forpreparation and mailing of certificates of CLE compliance to other MCLE states.The Board may establish other fees to defer administrative costs related torequests for accreditation with Supreme Court approval.
(c) Members of the Board are notcompensated, but will be reimbursed for reasonable and necessary expensesincurred in the performance of their duties under this article.
(d) All CLE sponsors who offer anycourse for Utah approved CLE credit must payto the Board, within 30 days following
(d)(1) All CLE sponsors that submit morethan 50 programs annually must pay additional application fees to the Board.
(d)(2) All CLE sponsors that do notcharge registration fees but submit more than 50 programs annually must pay tothe Board additional application fees.
(d)(3) If the CLE sponsor is agovernment or non-profit agency that is offering a program free of charge, thefees may be waived.
(e) Any Limited Paralegal Practitionerwho is required by this article to apply to the Board for any specialaccreditation or approval of an educational activity must pay a fee of $10 atthe time of application.
(g) Presumptive providers are requiredto pay an annual fee. The presumptive provider fee must be paid by January 1stof each year and is good through December 31st of each year.
(g)(1) Presumptive providers that submitmore than 50 applications annually will be required to pay additionalpresumptive fees.
