Rule 11-505.Statute of limitations.

(a)Individual Complaints. A Complaint must be filed with the OPC within fouryears of the time that the Complainant discovers or reasonably should havediscovered the alleged misconduct.

(b)OPC Complaints. A Complaint initiated by the OPC must be initiated withinfive years of the alleged misconduct.

(c)Fraud, conversion, conviction of a serious crime, and concealment. There isno statute of limitations for misconduct alleging fraud, conversion, or convictionof a serious crime, or for alleged misconduct concealed by the lawyer.
