Finding Legal Help

You are not required to hire an attorney, but legal matters can be complicated. Consider talking to an attorney to go over your options. See the Finding Legal Help page for information about free and low cost ways to get legal help.

Search for Appellate Case Docket Information

  • Use the 8-digit appellate docket number, not the trial court case number.
  • Do not use dashes, letters or parenthesis. For example: 20120178
  • You can search for dockets of cases 1986-current. Contact the appellate clerks' office if you cannot find the case you are searching for.

See the Appellate Court Records page for additional information about Supreme Court and Court of Appeals records.

The Utah State Courts mission is to provide the people an open, fair, efficient, and independent system for the advancement of justice under the law.
