Rule 802. The Rule Against Hearsay

Hearsay is not admissible except as provided by law or by these rules.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE NOTE

This rule is Rule 802 of the Uniform Rules of Evidence (1974), and is the same as the first paragraph of Rule 63, Utah Rules of Evidence (1971).
