New Laws Effective May 8, 2012

Hundreds of the state laws passed during the 2012 General Session go into effect May 8th. Legislative rule JR4-1-203 provides that a bill becomes law 60 days after the adjournment of the legislative session, unless otherwise provided. Here is just a small sample:
