National Library Week
April 10-16, 2011 is National Library Week. The American Library Association has celebrated this event annually since 1958.
In Utah, National Library Week coincides with Love Your Library Week, a resolution passed by the state legislature in 2008.
Events are being held in libraries throughout the state. For instance, the Logan Public Library is hosting a book sale, a drop in story time session, and prize drawings for both children and adults. Provo City Library is hosting a library card design contest. The Roosevelt Public Library will be hosting a National Library Week story hour.
